 Laser And Skin Training Centre – Terms and Conditions 

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between:

Laser and Skin Training Centre Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16541110, whose registered office is at 1301 Coventry Road, Birmingham, Yardley, B25 8FN (referred to as the Training Centre),

The individual enrolling on any course or training programme (referred to as the student). By booking, paying for, or attending any course provided by the Training Centre, the Student confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Nothing in these Terms affects the student’s statutory rights under UK consumer law.

1. Booking, Payments & Deposits

1.1 A booking is confirmed only once full payment, or an agreed deposit has been received. 1.2 All outstanding fees must be paid no later than 7 days before the course start date, unless otherwise agreed in writing. 1.3 Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where cancellation is required by law. 1.4 It is the Student’s responsibility to ensure that all payments are successfully processed.

2. Refunds, Cancellations & Transfers

2.1 Cooling-Off Rights (Distance Sales) Where a course is booked online, by phone, or without face-to-face contact, Students may have a statutory 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, unless training materials have been supplied or the course has commenced with the student’s express consent.

2.2 Deposits Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where cancellation is required by law.

2.3 Cancellation by the Student If a student cancels after training materials or course access has been provided, no refund will be due.

2.4 Non-Attendance Failure to attend a booked course, for any reason, does not entitle the student to a refund or automatic transfer.

2.5 Cancellation or Rescheduling by the Training Centre If the Training Centre cancels or materially reschedules a course, the student will be offered either: • an alternative date; or • a refund of fees paid for the affected course.

2.6 Exceptional Circumstances In exceptional circumstances, a one-time course transfer may be considered upon receipt of reasonable supporting evidence. Any decision will be made fairly and in accordance with applicable consumer law.

3. Course Delivery & Amendments

3.1 The Training Centre reserves the right to update or amend course content, training methods, trainers, or schedules where reasonably required.

3.2 Where a scheduled training date must be changed, an alternative date will be offered.

3.3 The Training Centre shall not be responsible for travel, accommodation, childcare, loss of earnings, or other consequential costs arising from course changes.

4. Attendance & Student Conduct

4.1 Students must attend all scheduled training hours and fully participate in both theoretical and practical elements.

4.2 Students arriving late may be refused entry, and this will not entitle the Student to a refund or transfer.

4.3 Students must behave in a professional, respectful, and safe manner at all times.

4.4 The Training Centre reserves the right to remove any Student whose behaviour is abusive, disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, without refund or rebooking.

5. Certification & Competency

5.1 Certification is awarded only where the student demonstrates safe and competent practice to the required standard.

5.2 Attendance alone does not guarantee certification.

5.3 Where additional training is required to achieve competency, additional fees may apply.

5.4 Certificates may be withheld administratively until all outstanding course fees are paid in full.

6. Training Materials & Intellectual Property

6.1 All training manuals, handouts, digital content, and resources remain the intellectual property of Laser and Skin Training Centre Ltd. 6.2 Students must not copy, reproduce, share, distribute, publish, or use training materials to train others without prior written consent. 6.3 Training materials are provided for personal study use only.

7. Practical Training & Models

7.1 Practical training may involve working on live models.

7.2 Students may be required to provide their own models unless otherwise agreed.

7.3 Where a student is unwilling or unable to participate in practical training, certification cannot be guaranteed.

7.4 Students are responsible for ensuring that their models arrive on time and meet suitability requirements.

8. Insurance, Licensing & Post-Training Practice

8.1 It is the student’s responsibility to confirm eligibility for insurance prior to booking.

8.2 Completion of a course does not guarantee insurance approval or licensing by local authorities. 8.3 Insurance and licensing requirements vary; Students must verify requirements applicable to their location.

8.4 The Training Centre is not responsible for treatments carried out by Students following completion of training.

9. Liability

9.1 Students participate in training activities at their own risk and must follow all safety instructions provided.

9.2 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes the Training Centre’s liability for:

• death or personal injury caused by negligence;

• fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or

• any liability which cannot be excluded under English law.

9.3 Subject to clause 9.2, the Training Centre shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of income, loss of business, or loss of opportunity.

9.4 Personal belongings always remain the responsibility of the student.

10. Force Majeure

10.1 The Training Centre shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure results from events beyond its reasonable control.

10.2 Such events may include acts of God, fire, flood, severe weather, illness, pandemics, government or regulatory action, public health restrictions, industrial disputes, utility failure, equipment breakdown, or trainer unavailability.

10.3 Where a Force Majeure event occurs, reasonable endeavours will be made to minimise disruption and offer alternative arrangements in accordance with these Terms.

11. Health, Safety & Hygiene

11.1 Students must comply with all health and safety instructions provided.

11.2 Any medical conditions that may affect participation must be disclosed prior to training.

11.3 The Training Centre reserves the right to restrict practical participation where safety concerns arise.

11.4 Appropriate hygiene standards and professional conduct must be always maintained.

12. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

12.1 Students should raise any concerns as soon as reasonably possible.

12.2 Complaints must be submitted in writing by email or post with sufficient detail.

12.3 The Training Centre will acknowledge complaints and aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.

12.4 Nothing in these Terms prevents Students from exercising their legal rights.

13. Data Protection

13.1 The Training Centre processes personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

13.2 Personal data will be collected and used for legitimate business purposes including course administration, certification, communication with Students, regulatory compliance, and legal obligations.

13.3 Further details regarding data processing are set out in the Training Centre’s Privacy Policy, available upon request or via the Training Centre’s website.

14. Minimum Age & Eligibility

14.1 Students must be at least 18 years of age unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific course.

14.2 The Training Centre reserves the right to request proof of age and/or photographic identification prior to or during training.

14.3 The Training Centre reserves the right to cancel or refuse a booking where eligibility requirements are not met. Refunds will be issued only where required by applicable consumer law.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
